Stop 3: The U.P

Sleeping in my car wasn't terrible, I slept straight through the night and it was free.   I drove up to the upper peninsula, the U.P., along the way I stopped at a couple state parks. Then finally I made it to Munsing and Marquette.
It rained all morning but cleared up later.
This is called the Kitchikopi lake.  It is totally clear and you can ride that dock thing across the lake and back.  All you have to do is crank a huge wheel for a good hour.
National something Forrest where I went for a little run.
Came across a junkyard metal art drive thru.  It's basically a guy that welds metal into awesome designs.

Stop 2

This was an all day drive. I passed through Canada which was cool, I never knew how many things there were to do there.  Then I drove straight to Hougton and Higgins lakes( Michigan)  Now I am going to attempt my first night sleeping in my car.

Stop 1

First stop was buffalo where I played 18 with CJ Brunner aka Helga.  I got badly embarrassed but he is a child prodigy so I was expecting that.

Next, I went to Niagara Falls and walked around.

Then, I had the great idea of trying to get in the casino. Once, I had entered the casino I had promptly received a one year ban from all Seneca falls casino buildings.  I don't really want to share details about this on my blog, so you can make your own assumptions. Next, stop is mid Michigan!

The Route

For all of you that do not know, I am going to attempt to drive across the country.  I say attempt because I am not a big fan of driving and camping which is 90% of what I am going to do.  My plan is to visit everything I have ever wanted to visit, like; Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.  Between places, I am going to sleep in my car, a tent, or a cheap motel.  I will be running, hiking, and walking through these beautiful places along with taking pictures.

When I started telling people I was doing this trip I was told I should blog it, and for all of you that care, this is my blog for you.  When I went to create a blog I realized I had created a blog 4 years ago called the Salty Jellybean.  Since, I cannot think of a cool enough name for this blog I am going to keep the original name of my older blog.
